Good stuff, Mike! One of the lads in my class got hooked on archery, and Craig Ekin of Howard Hill Archery made him a perfect longbow to suit his build and strength. Craig has a prompt turn-around time, too. And he can make wooden arrows to suit a longbow. Sorry, I'm not sure what compound bows suit young blokes, but I bet the Lancaster Archery guys could help, if that's the direction your son wanted to go.
