Yes - the Basket Hilt Sword such as this one below with red baise interior was only called a broad sword or Basket Hilt sword. Well, there he is - in full regalia as at council fire at Rendezvous. The dirk is one he built from scratch including the carving. Ctrl and + will enlarge the picture on PC's. The sword int he picture above, is not the claymore either. It is a country/cottage or womthing or other war sword- a slayer by any words. It was a killing machine. I was over at his house and he explained the differences while we checked over the new War Bow he built - Yew, 78" nock to nockand drawing 100 pounds at 32" draw. It's a lovely bow and a mite stiff to draw for his old bowyer. Well, there he is - in full regalia as at council fire at Rendezvous. The dirk is one he built from scratch including the carving.
