Walked a floodplain this morning for a few boars. We got four for the morning. Water levels are dropping back and should be some excellent hunting in the weeks to come.
I got the first boar which walked onto me and stopped for a rub in the wrong spot. 7m shot thru the shoulder and a 60m run and down.
Chris took the next boar which was feeding in a billabong at around 20m. The boar was down in around 40m.
Chris took another young boar at around 17m with a spine shot, out on a channel. I got another small boar on the same channel. heres some pics Mick
