Serious inquiries only please - thank you. Unfortunately last evening we were notified that a good client of ours has to cancel his May 15th brown bear hunt, and he is willing to significantly discount his hunt that he has had booked for 2 years. Mark has personally been on this hunt as have several of our clients. This is a 15 day 1x1 brown bear hunt, and is conducted on Federal Refuge Lands on the east coast of the Alaskan Peninsula about 500 miles down from Anchorage. If you have dreamed of someday hunting a big brownie in likely one of the wildest places in Alaska, this is an opportunity for you to save $6000. You will be hunting bears during the rut as May is the time the big boars are on the move looking for hot sows. Bears are often hunted here in spring by glassing shoreline locations, and setting up ambushes as the boars cruise the shoreline or stalking bears where ever you happen to find them. The bears are also cruising the shore lines looking for any whale or walrus that has washed ashore.. The hunt was normally $18,500, plus a $3000 trophy fee on harvested or wounded bear. You also have $585 for hunting license and tag, plus there is a charter flight from Anchorage to base camp which is $1700 round trip. Our client is willing to take a $6000 loss on his deposit, so your hunt cost would be $12,500 + license, tag, charter fee, and Trophy Fee. You would need to Arrive Anchorage on May 8th. You'll take charter flight to base camp on 9th and then super cub flight into your specific hunting camp. You should purchase flexible return tickets in case you fill out early or with Alaskan weather. Tentatively however you would be flown back to Anchorage on May 25th, and then home May 26th. All hunts are conducted 1x1, with tent camp. Hunt can be conducted with rifle or bow, but of course if you are on this broadcast list, we figure you'll be taking your bow. Rifle hunts are also booked for only 10 days in duration. Nothing quite like letting an arrow fly when you are close to a brown bear or grizzly - if you haven't experienced it - now may be the time! a If you are interested in this hunt, please contact Mark Buehrer by replying to this email or you can reach him at 419-943-3743 EST until 5:00 PM or cell at 419-890-7199. The hunt will be filled first come first served |
