It is a metal bracket which one can ratchet to a tree and it will hold your video camera. It is comprised of three sections so there is a fair amout of flexability to position the camera. I will try and post a photograph of it set up if I have time this weekend.

It also has a hook from which you can hang your bow if you like.

My Sony is newer but the remote does not operate the actual record feature. Wish it did though. If I am fortunate enough to see bears/kill bears I will do my best to get video for internet use though I do not know how to do this yet.
