Do you get string wear with that Matthews? Would seem like it would rub on the cam edge if it is coming out at an angle. Seems like an odd design but maybe they see something I don't? My Parker is a solo cam and the string is not angled. Anyway, I have been shooting a Biscuit for over two years and have not lost a single fletch. I use carbon arrows which can be fussy if you do not prep them right before glueing on your vanes. Mine apparently get done right. ALWAYS put an extra bead of glue at the front of the vane where it meets the arrow shaft. I shoot in all sorts of weather, no issues with snow or water. It gets pretty cold in my area and it has never iced up. When I killed my buck on Oct 1 last year it had been raining, cold and windy all afternoon and evening. Cold enough I was hunting in my winter gear. |
