No--my son actually did that with the first one I ever got. He had it framed and gave it to me for a Christmas present...after that one I am slowly accumulating them in my reloading room..

Think the carbon arrows have assisted in this happening..I shot wood arrows and then alumuminum for years..never happened..switched to these type and now have gotten 6 in the last 5 years. At least that is my theory..

I also switched from shooting with fingers to a release a few years back along with a new bow..so maybe the combination ....
