This isn't the norm, but I shoot 30" 2315s topped with a 100 grain Thunderhead. The heavier arrow combined with a lighterweight broadhead makes for terrific spine strength when used with 70# draw weight. Without exaggerating, out of 10 deer I've shot with it, I've had complete pass throughs from every angle with that set-up. I've never hunted buffalo with it but I would not hesitate to do so. A shot behind the should will slip easily through the boiler room. |
