I may try an expandable called the "razor" as it has no rubber band holding the blades forward.It says it will open on impact but one wonders--

the STEELHEAD I use is very similar--and also very similarily shaped however the tip is one solid piece versus the attached portion on yours..

FYI...Have not heard such good things for the "razor'...but as so many elude too..everyone likes different things...

I am kind of a creature of habit--if something works and works well I usually don't change until someone or something can show me why I should...the expandables have worked very well for both myself and my "GANG" of bowhunters I hang around with..between the group there has been probably 15 plus head of elk to hit the ground in the last few years..and all with expandables...I was a HUGE non-believer at first---but now a convert...
