I use an expandable called a Trophy Ridge "steelhead" which opens on impact but flies like a fieldtip. These seem to make decent entry wounds. Is this your "steelhead" as well?"Razor" and "Trophy Ridge" both have a steelhead broadhead.I tried fixed broadheads but they tended to "plane" and were not as reproducibly accurate.

I may try an expandable called the "razor" as it has no rubber band holding the blades forward.It says it will open on impact but one wonders--

Any recommendations on expandables??
