Still it would be interesting to know what the DEER HEAR in addition to what we hear.What sounds/frequencies does an arrow make? Wonder how it sounds approaching the deer?

I shoot an expandable broadhead at around 325 fps from the crossbow.I have few deer to my credit with it( only 2)but love stalking and shooting!!In my very limited experience the doe shot farther away (40 yd distance) tended to react less than the closer one.Since sound travels faster than the arrow you would expect the animal could react sooner at longer range-- Interesting!!
