First here is a knife i made out of a tool steel called Sleipner (made by uddeholm in Sweden.) the scales are box elder. the knife is 260 x 44 x 4,5mm sharp bit is 135mm a little damascus hunter (1095 &15N20) with birch burl scales it is 207 x 34 x 3,5mm sharp bit is 95mm next we have a more rugged knife, made out of 5mmRWL34 with green mikarta scales, the whole thing was beadblasted after it was finished to give it less glare and better grip. (poor picture, sorry for that) it is 263 x 38 x 5mm sharp bit is 142mm next is a santuko made out of elmax (stainless tool steel by uddeholm. blade made by our own JJS) total length 270mm x 49mm wide & 5.5 thick skales are stabilized box elder. last of all is this little kitchen knife it is 262 x 41 x 4,5mm with a tapered tang down to 0.6mm sharp bit is 135mm. skales are lace sheoak with 2mm stainless pins. /Roger |
