Dale Thanks for that. I missed it last week. It is a real pity. My Simson 9.3 (see thread from Nov / Dec) was worse but restoring was easy as the action was standard Mauser 98. You could get the stock done by an apprentice stock maker for a reasonable price. A young guy with passion & discipline could do a dream job on it. The metal work would depend on the level of damage. It would be great to restore & shoot again. Thanks for sharing. |
