Your gun or your Father's looks a lot like one I bought in 1983 for about $400 new. Simson Suhl was an East German gunmaker. I purchased mine after looking for my first side by side for several months. Then a week later a shotgun was returned from an order which I had put my name down for but the gunshop rotters had given to someone else. This shotgun was a nice Spanish Azhur 12 gauge, so I ended up driving back to the city to buy a second one a week after the first. A story with hindsight where one did not get away for once! $100 for that shotgun in perfect condition is a steal. How is your gun choked? Mine seemed to be choked FULL and EXTRA-FULL! |
