I have recently acqired a high quality shotgun marked Simson&CO Suhl on top of each barrel.Rib is marked Made For Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co. All markings are engraved and reciever has full coverage scroll engraving. Features ejectors and side clips.Reinforced frame. 2 3/4 inch chambers. 1926 proofs.Highly figured european walnut. Does anyone have any info on this gun? I am not sure that the engraving is German, could this have been done in the U.S.?
