Re: Slugger slugs in a rifled barrel?

Thanks for the response. That's about what I thought as far as the barrels being "picky". The reason I ask is that Remington has the message I mentioned on their "sluggers" , but at the same time their website says sabots only in a rifled barrel(using an 870). Twist rate according to their FAQ page is 1 in 35". I wasn't going to bother with a slug barrel at all, but got a good price on the combo.
