Funny I see this thread pop up right now. I have about fourty guns out in a similar fashion right now, I'm cleaning out and moving one of the vaults today. Took a little break from the hard work of wiping down and peeking down the bores of lots and lots of barrels this morning. Might just have to put a fire in that fireplace too... I don't have much time to fiddle with photos, but here's one of the tiny Lefaucheux 28b shotgun. It's about a 2/3 size gun, likely made for a child or small woman, signed and addressed with the inventor's name and address on the top rib. This is one of eleven creatures in the dark arts scenes depicted within the twisted bank ribbon on my Claudin 16b SxS. This gun was set up with Leopold Bernard fine pattern barrels and very dark tiger stripe french walnut. Enjoy! --Tinker |
