As an American and Ruger fan, I'm damn proud that Ruger produced this gun. However, when I finally had the chance to hold one. I was soooo disappointed. It lacks any elegance whatsoever and the wood is pretty bad. Let me elaborate. I own a Bicentennial (1976) .375 H&H #1 tropical. The quality of wood, fit and finish are superb. Ruger simply does not make guns like they did in the 1970's.
