I didn't know that until I got a gun restocked
and the stockist (even though it was a Bolt Action)
suggested adding abit all around so t could
handle 1 refinish.

Interestingly, today I checked some Modern guns
(Fabarm, Miroku etc) and they have wood proud of
the Metal.
