It says "BAGGAGE", in other words to be stowed in the hold, and so not needed during the voyage, unlike "CABIN".

Might have wanted to shoot ducks whilst in the Suez Canal of course...

Lord Inchcape was the boss/ owner of P&O and bought a castle in SW Scotland at Glenapp, with good shooting there.
