Re: Objects from an English gun case.

I think it's cool to label gun cases, either embossed into the leather. Or a label inside. And for guns, initials on a estacheon, grip cap, or other embellishment.
It's life,
My grandfather drilled a hold in the butt under the butt plate of his Mauser .22RF. Stored his firearms licence in the hole. Would be cool to keep a history of a rifle in a similar way over its life. For vintage historic firearms.

My Jeffery .450 it would be cool if a Maharajah owned it in his sporting armoury for guests. Then travelled to Australia. A member here owned it before me. The J.J. Hahn, then the next person.

Back to cases, a small way to live in history having ones name embossed on a leather case.
