K could be Keith. Karl. Kingsley. Many possibilities.

De could be French, as in "de" or "of".

de B. C. is "of B. C." whether or not a place name. Seeing it's probably hyphenated.

de might also derive from Norman noble ancestry if British. Or ancestry from other later French speaking English territories in France.
