Re: Northern Territory Goose Season

Well it was a very pleasant sunrise out on the goose-camp this morning, plenty of birds flying, not too many shooters, just perfect.



I was a bit worried that the birds might not be fat this year, on account of the low water-level, but they're obviously getting good feed somewhere as they were all rolling. I'd almost forgotten just how heavy a full bag can be, especially since I was lucky enough to swing onto a few of those big humpy-headed thugs right at the front of the 'V'.



Cajun goose for dinner tonight, mmmm-yum!


O&BTW, if your going to send that goose up here, Al, we want him skinned, gutted, and blister-wrapped ready for the freezer. I'm nearly out of dog-food...
