I'm rather proud of the deal. The gun had been sitting on the shelves since the actual owner took over the business, > 30 years ago. The colour case hardening of the breech face was unblemished until we took the gun out shooting. After a few shots, there were the usual ringmarks around the firing pin holes, proof of its unfired condition. It handles and shoots fine. The only thing I personally dislike is the auto safety, which is easy to get rid of, but then, it doesn't bother Christopher so, to each his own. |
