I purchased an old Cresent arms 16 ga SXS at a gun show in the mid 80's. I almost passed on it because it was a 16 gauge. I got it any way and soon found out that many of my friends , and their friends had older 16 gauge shells at give away prices, usually FREE!!! I used it for many years on small game and then purchased a German made 16 SXS at a gun show and used it for a while. I still have some free shells and the two sxs -guns....Ed
