Quote: What do you mean by "jagged lines"? Thanks. I really like the result. You should be very pleased. How do you plan to shoot the shotgun with damascus barrels as compared to a usual steel shotgun? I have an old "Hollis" side by side damascus barrelled shotgun with hammers. I know its chambers are 2 1/2 inch chambers as compared to the usual 2 3/4" chambers. Dad shot it with the usual shells all his life, and so did I, but stopped when I realised the chambers were shorter. Then sourced some shorter Spanish shotshells. I quite like shooting it. It is a bit rough and needs a refurbishment, if it is worth doing. This Hollis brand was the cheaper one and not the resale value of a WR. I must have a look at its damascus barrels. |
