Pretty rifle, classic, beautiful. The engraving is very nice, especially the grouse. And the colour case hardening well done.

I do wonder about the rising third bite "hood", what do you call the bit the the rising bite locks into?

Is all that necessary on a shotgun?

Does it get in the way of quick loading or removal of cartridges, if the shotgun is not an ejector?

Might make a .500 NE stronger, but does a shotgun need it?

However, still a very nice shotgun. And lots of customers like the RB Rigbys. I plan to show a lot more.

We also need more shotgunning and shotgun discussions on NE.
