12 gr. of unique with 1/2 ounce in .444 cases was what I used. I also used a .44 gas check as an overshot wad.

Load the powder, shove in a .410 3" plastic wad, mark at the top of the case, pull it up and snip off just below that mark, then fill with shot, shove in an up-side-down gas check or hard card wad OS wad and crimp in the .444 seater die - done.
