the first model collath double gun shooting a paper cartridge with seperate percussion primer

this double gun must be made in the late 1850s, early 1860s


you see basically its the same gun still made into the 1920s only hammerless when the needle fire cartridge came some times later


























looks like Cal. 6 so this would mean the number system goes back to the very first paper cartridges
