Went to the www.hugluarmsco.com, based on an article by Barsness on light shotguns. I narrowed my interest down to a 28 Ga. SxS english grip, 28" barrels, case hardened action. All looks fine on the picture............................ but in real life??? Has anyone viewed one of those Turkish production guns? The only feature I did not like is the abominable beavertail fore-end with a schnabel to boot. I grip the barrels in a SxS, not the fore-end itself. Anyway, I could possibly live with that bizarre feature. What I am interested in is the metal/wood inletting, and finish like the checkering, case hardening, quality of scrolls, polish of the action and locks. |
