Good Day, I recently picked up a Beretta GR-4 SXS 12ga. The prior owner had the barrels shortened slightly to about 26 1/2" and Briley VX choke tubes installed. I am assuming at the same time they had the ejectors deactivated. Unfortunately this last item is becoming a pain in the neck as the springs are still in place and I have to work against those to reinstall the forend. This makes for a real pain every time the forend is removed. I would like to activate the ejectors but when I bought the gun the dealer said he couldn't find the parts to do that, personally I don't know that they knew how to fix it. I know with a lot of SXS it is just a matter of turning a screw or moving a clip but I have been unable to find anything on the Net explaining what to do. I am looking for someone that is familar with these guns and can tell me what to look for or what to do to reactivate the ejectors. If you can offer some help could you please drop me a PM... Thanks in Advance... DonT |
