Good Day,

I recently picked up a Beretta GR-4 SXS 12ga.
The prior owner had the barrels shortened slightly to about 26 1/2" and Briley VX choke tubes installed. I am assuming at the same time they had the ejectors deactivated.

Unfortunately this last item is becoming a pain in the neck as the springs are still in place and I have to work against those to reinstall the forend. This makes for a real pain every time the forend is removed.

I would like to activate the ejectors but when I bought the gun the dealer said he couldn't find the parts to do that, personally I don't know that they knew how to fix it. I know with a lot of SXS it is just a matter of turning a screw or moving a clip but I have been unable to find anything on the Net explaining what to do.

I am looking for someone that is familar with these guns and can tell me what to look for or what to do to reactivate the ejectors.
