You likely know about this, but in case others reading are not aware.

Sometimes a Lancaster can be looked at and just thought to be a smoothbore shotgun, when in fact it is an ovalbore rifle.

I know it has happened with Lancaster barreled 577 Sniders before. A Lancaster Engineer carbine will get passed over because the buyer thinks it is a junky smoothbore.

It just pays to check these and make sure!
