ALAN In reply to: You could try cutting the front section (radially)of a shotshell, leaving small areas uncut so that it holds together until fired. The the whole shotcharge goes downrange as a solid encased in the front half of the case! As a lad (won't say how long ago) before we were allowed centefires, this was very good roo/pig/goat medicine! BTW - No, not Portarlington - Some chaps were known to have resorted to the 44/40 trick for Sunday Island/Hog Deer. |
