I have looked at the Ultralights but never shot one, I was very close to buying one a few years ago. The Benellis that I have hunted with are a 20ga Montefeltro that I used for one season and a 12ga Super Black Eagle II that I have used the last couple of years. I've never had a problem and they have worked well, for some reason the Black Eagle has just been better at hitting birds for me. The new 28 is nice but I would prefer one in a synthetic stock. The one negative I have with their current wood stocked models is they have followed Beretta in using the fake decals, at least the 28 I handled did, not positive about the Ultralight. Anyway, too much money for phony wood. |
