I don't think it as slow as some might think. Throw the lever and twist your wrist and the barrels drop down, exposign the extracted cases (or ejects them) just like a side by side. Load, snap together (probably) as normal and it locks, twisting the wrist again as you do so. Seems it would be little different than a side by side - very similar, except wonderfully narrow and delightfully shallow as well. It would/should be an extension of your hands, just as a fine splintered double would be, especially for that first barrel, the bottom one. |
