few days back during an evening shot i came to know that the firing pin and firing pin springs of my side by side(140 years old Birmingham made high hammer action sxs) will not go further with me and thay need repairing on the next fire on quails pins don't move back due to springs get damaged,it was an unpleasant movement for me, it make the all journey bitter..
my friend he was with me he is not a hunter offer me that he has a spare sxs with 30" barrel at home will send it to me next day.
next day he offer me a sxs which was ZABALA,EIBER made in Spain.but it was extremely bad condition it was not opend and cleaned since last 10 years,i spent 2 hrs to open and clean the sxs,i use WD40 rust removing spray for this,barrel have rust spots some are very deep rust spots am uploading pics for further discussion for sxs spesially on barrel exterior rust spots,inside the barrel have good condition minor scratches on forcing cone .
