I think mine is from the 1920's. This one locks up like a safe. I also have an E20, made in 1928, which looks prettier, but is a little off face. At least it has it's original wood. I'm considering making the 16 bore into a ball gun, with sights and shortened barrels removing the choke. Normally I would consider this to be butchering a fine old gun, but I think it's condition, and lack of original wood, makes it a reasonable project. |
