Some states in the USA have shotgun cartridges available with multiple finned darts, tracer, incendinary, parachute flare, exploding projectile etc etc instead of normal shot or slugs. Dozens of different options. I wonder how effective these are as you never hear of them in normal use. I would love exploding projectile (air burst) 12 g shells for use in bird scaring on crops. Even better if they produce shrapnel
