When I was a kid in the 60's I recall when banks had a guard at the door sitting in an old creaky wooden chair and he'd have a single shot very short barreled shotgun. Last year I was at Syracuse NY gun show and two of the booths had a "bank guard shotgun" like I saw as a kid in the 1960's. Unfortunatley I never got the make and model of these guns at the show but they were the same maker, of that I am sure. One gun was in pretty good condition and the other one was a wall hanger. But these guns were made the same and came this way from the factory: Single shot, 12 gauge, 18-20 inch barrel, unique way of cracking the barrel. Does anyone know anything about these guns. |
