Sarg, I'm afraid that if you cut this gun off, you will never get it back to shooting as good as this. The Lyman slugs do very well in rifled barrels but I don't know about smooth bored barrels.
If you do cut it back, it will most likely cross the shots alot sooner. Bob H.
