I think if that is what you like and it works well for you then you should get it--on ALL my dangerous game rifles that are scoped..I have a Leupold VX III-Heavy duplex in either 1.5 to 5 or 1.75 to 6..the one in 1.75 to 6 is going on its 4th African hunt in a couple of months--no problems thus far--and is mounted on a .416..really like that combination..I just pulled it out for the first time in 2+ years to check it out and start practicing with it..I had not checked it since I was last in Africa--checked first with a couple shots at 50 yards and then 100 yards--it was dead center--no adjustment necessary after the long flight back to the US--seeing how some of the luggage is handled I was very impressed by that...
