Not so long ago there was a post asking for the difference in recoil between the .416 Rigby and .458 Winchester.

I understand that felt/perceived recoil can vary depending upon stock weight and design. I was wondering where those of you with multiple, large bore centrefire magazine rifles rate them for recoil.

Where does the .404 Jeffery fit ?
