Robgunbuilder, why so optimistic about the cloning project? Is mammoth DNA felt to be quite close to elephant? I suppose 10,000 year old DNA is more usable than dinosaur stuff, eh? I guess I've read a bit about using cattle to carry a Gaur calf or something similar, but a mammoth would still seem to be quite a step up from that!
