If recoil is a consideration, I think this is an easy answer. Go with the 9.3X62. I have two 62s and have owned four 375s (still own one) - my two favorite calibers. My Heym 62 weighs 8lbs ready to go and recoil is noticeably less than any of my 375s. My experience would indicate little difference in performance on game between the 286gr 9.3 and the 300gr 375.
