I agree with your last sentance in some ways but
as a longer range heavy hitter WITHOUT the recoil
of the 378 ???

I read up alot on it a few years back and most say it should have stayed and been used in that situation.

I def agree that most animals can't tell the diff of 100fps
inside of 200 yards.
