My close friend Keith has a .375 in the stainless Savage with comp. stock. This rifle has yet to shoot a group LARGER than 7/8" at 100 meters. It is by far, the most accurate, out of the box .375 I've ever seen. It shoots every load tried so far, well under the inch, as if that's necessary. Dozens of loads so far, all 7/8" or smaller, with many running typical cloverleafs. Too bad they stopped chambering it. There are probably some still around. ; It's Keith's favourite guiding rifle so far. For his own hunting, he uses a custom 8x68S.
