I have both the Alaskan and the African model 375 Rugers and have carried one or the other of them since May. Rugers have always had an outstanding ruputation for durability here in Alaska and these new Rugers feed better and are more accurate than the old ones and in my opinion better than many custom and most semi-custom rifles.
They are my first pick for the ideal Alaskan rifle and far ahead of anything in second place.
