I've used both Leupold and Swarovski on sniper systems when I was in Special Forces and both stood up to the recoil of a .50BMG without a problem.

I don't have any experience at all with Ziess, but as for Burris I've had too many of their handgun scopes lose their zero at a critical time during a hunt or at a shooting match to ever trust them again. Might as well plan on throwing rocks!
