The only advantage of the .416 Rem is factory ammo and lower pressure at any given velocity.
; My choice would be a good Mauser 98 in .416 Taylor. Was going to build one back in 1973, but bought a custom .458 2" on a VZ '98 instead - never looked back, never been without one. 350's at 2,300fps, 400's at 2,200fps and 500's at 2,060fps.
; My advice, go with the .416 Taylor for any country - or for North America only & still better yet, the .416 x 2".
