I am leaving in a couple weeks for a combo Moose / Brown Bear trip in AK. My rifle began as a Winchester M70 Stainless Classic in .375 H&H before I turned it over to Griffin & Howe for:

1) Trigger Job and general refinement of action

2) New stainless bottom metal (unnecessary cosmetic luxury)

3) Griffin topmount with electroless nickle plate

4) Griffin fixed sights and barrel band also electroless plated. The factory barrel was very accurate so it was retained.
